Sue and I listened to the tracks last night, drinks in hand and the tracks going through the hi-fi system.
I’m biased of course, having seen the band play at Ain’t Nothin But in Kingly Street, Soho, and meeting the band, but we enjoyed the four tracks [the drums and bass an absolute joy to our ears from the off!] but of particular interest was the one original here, ‘Tip Toe’ which has an amusing and identifiable story and good refrain and arrangement. It fits into that Rick Estrin, Mike Thomas, James Harman approach to lyrics, seems to me to stand out as quite distinct from anything else I’ve heard"
